The Ministry of the Presidency will work with the City of Eyes for the construction of a plant for the treatment of inert waste, which could add future General Urban Plan (Plan) of this municipality.
This was agreed today by the Minister of the Presidency, Manuel Campos, and the mayor of Eye, Pablo Melgarejo, after holding a meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry to examine and activate the necessary mechanisms to implement some projects the municipality.
It will consider its location, services, waterproofing system and the possibility of obtaining funds from European Union funding.
These are some of the issues that focus the first meetings between the technical teams of the Ministry and the consistory.
The future waste treatment plant inert, highlight fields, "will give an essential service to eliminate the impact that could cause inert waste on the environment", but stressed its least dangerous since not experience a physical transformation, chemical or not pose a risk to biological biodiversity.
"Its opening will create new jobs and resource optimization, while promote regional wealth creation, thus contributing to strengthen the business fabric with the difficult economic situation," said Campos.
This is one of the "cornerstones of a serious and rigorous planning and design of city growth in the coming years," said Minister of the Presidency, who said he also will evaluate the construction of an eco-park.
Future plant facilities can accommodate inert waste from construction activity, demolition, excavation, earthmoving and industrial activities.
The meeting also discussed other projects related to the area of ​​security, as the constitution of the body of the local police eyes, and the provision of more services to the municipality.
