The action consists of the renovation of the road surface, the improvement of the layout and the construction of an area to facilitate pedestrian traffic through this route of the regional network.

Also, the Ministry will adapt the rest areas of the viewpoints of the Salto de la Novia, located at RM-522 (OjósVillanueva del Río Segura), of La Zorrera, located at RM-521 (OjósRicote) and Azud de Ojós, in the RM-520 (OjósBlanca).

This work would involve an investment of 140,000 euros.

A new bus stop

The counselor of the Presidency and Development and the mayor inaugurated a new bus stop built in a semi-mammoth on the regional highway RM-521, which links the municipalities of Ojós and Ricote, which will improve the connection and accessibility of the urban center with the municipal cemetery of eyes.

The bus stop will improve the security of the waiting area of the travelers and the parking of the vehicles for the collection and descent of users on this road, a route widely used by the residents of the Valle de Ricote region and which registers a traffic of about 500,000 vehicles per year.

Buses on line 42 run through this stop, linking the municipalities of Ojós, Archena and Murcia, specifically with ten daily expeditions, five in each direction, except Sundays and holidays, which have four services.

To enable this area, the construction of a semiglorieta on the road that allows entry and exit of buses, in both directions of circulation has been carried out.

The roundabout has an outer radius of 14 meters and a sidewalk of 2 meters, which allows the entry and exit of buses and its stop for the collection and descent of users outside the trunk of the RM-521 highway.
