Renewing the urban environment of the river Segura as it passes through Ojós for the enjoyment of its neighbors and visitors is one of the objectives of the investment of 115,000 euros that the Community has made in the municipality under the Works and Services Plan.
The works have allowed the creation of five jetties on the Segura river bank and a canoe storage area, as well as the design of sidewalks and the construction of a wall on the Segura river avenue.
Public lighting has also been installed with autonomous solar lanterns to improve visibility and safety.
In addition, in order to improve the conditions in which cultural and leisure activities are carried out, the Amphitheater of the Rock has been equipped with a shaded area.
The counselor of the Presidency, Pedro Rivera, said during his visit to Ojós to know the result of the works that "thanks to this investment the urban environment has been remodeled so that the neighbors can practice sports, walk or simply spend time with the family in this privileged environment. "
